What is Calenday?
Calenday is appointment scheduling software. You publish a booking page, people pick a slot from your real availability, and the meeting lands in both calendars automatically. It is sold as a one-time $99 licence covering unlimited users, and it can run on your own server.
The category is well established: Calendly, Cal.com, Acuity Scheduling and Microsoft Bookings all do a version of this. What separates them is rarely the booking page itself — it is the billing model, and what happens when your team grows.
Every major scheduling tool charges per person, per month. Add a colleague, pay again. Keep the tool for three years, pay thirty-six times. Calenday breaks that loop: one payment, unlimited seats, and a free plan that is a working product rather than a countdown to an upgrade prompt.
It is built for people who run more than one thing at once — an agency with several client brands, a consultant with two practices, a company with distinct product lines. Each brand gets its own booking pages, colours, members and data, sealed off from the others, inside a single account.

Why pay a subscription per person?
A five-person team on Calendly Standard pays $1,800 over three years. The same team on Calendly Teams pays $2,880. Calenday costs $99, once, whatever the headcount. Below the second seat this is a price difference; above it, it is an order of magnitude.
| Solution | Plan used | 1 person | 5 people | 20 people |

How it works
Three steps, and the third one is the one that never ends. Connect your calendar so Calenday knows when you are actually free, describe the meeting you want to offer, then share one link. Everything after that happens without you.
- 01
Connect your calendar
Google Calendar or Microsoft 365, in two clicks and an OAuth screen. Calenday reads your existing events to block them, and writes new bookings back.
- 02
Describe the meeting
Duration, buffers before and after, minimum notice, how far ahead people can book, which questions you want answered, and whether it needs paying for.
- 03
Share one link
Your guest picks a slot in their own time zone, fills in your form, and both calendars update. Reminders go out on their own.
What Calenday does
Availability rules, event types, a branded booking page, calendar sync, video links, reminders, payments, contacts and analytics. The free plan carries the core; the $99 licence unlocks the five features listed as premium below.
Real availability, not a wish list
Weekly hours, date overrides, buffers, minimum notice, booking horizon, public holidays, and per-event rules that override the defaults.
Event types without a cap
As many as you want, on every plan. One-to-one, group, and round-robin distribution across a team — no upgrade required.
Slot polls
When a slot has to suit six people, send a poll instead of a booking link. Everyone votes, you confirm, the meeting is created.
A booking page that looks like you
Logo, colours, custom questions, required fields, and the guest’s own language. Not a template with your name pasted on it.
Google Calendar and Microsoft 365
Two-way sync. Existing events block new bookings, and confirmed bookings appear in your calendar with the guest as an attendee.
Meet, Teams and Zoom
A conference link is generated when the booking is confirmed and included in the invitation. Premium.
Reminders and follow-ups
Email workflows triggered on booking, before the meeting, after it, or on cancellation, with your own copy. Premium.
Payment into your own account
Stripe Connect or PayPal, connected by OAuth. The money goes to your account, not through ours. Premium.
Contacts and analytics
Every guest becomes a contact with their booking history, exportable as CSV. Volume, no-show rate and sources in the analytics view. Premium.
Who is this for?
Calenday suits people who book meetings for a living and refuse to pay per head for the privilege. It is a poor fit for medical practices, salons and anyone who needs an industry-specific record attached to each appointment.
Independent professionals
Coaches, consultants, therapists, freelancers. The free plan already covers unlimited bookings; $99 removes the branding and turns on payments.
Agencies
One account, one brand per client, complete separation between them. No second subscription each time you sign a new client.
Small and mid-sized companies
Sales, support, recruiting and onboarding calls across a whole team, with round-robin distribution, for a price that does not scale with headcount.
Teams inside larger organisations
A department that needs its own booking flow without waiting for a company-wide procurement cycle. One licence, deployed where you choose.
Several brands, one account, no leakage
Calenday lets one account hold several organisations that share nothing: separate booking pages, separate colours and logos, separate members, separate contacts, separate data. Switching between them takes one click, and nothing crosses over.
This is the part most scheduling tools get wrong for agencies. Calendly has no notion of separate brands at all. Cal.com puts sub-teams and a custom subdomain behind its Organizations plan at $28 per seat per month. Everywhere else, running eight client brands means eight accounts, eight invoices and eight passwords.
In Calenday, isolation is enforced in the database itself: every row belongs to an organisation, and row-level security means a query scoped to one brand cannot return another brand’s data — not by accident, and not by a mistake in the application code either.
A studio with four clients
Four organisations, four sets of colours, four booking domains. The client’s own team can be invited to their brand and will never see the other three.
A consultant with two practices
Executive coaching on one page, technical audits on another, different questions and durations, one calendar underneath so they can never double-book.
Your data, your region
Calenday runs on Postgres and ships with a Docker image, so you can deploy it on infrastructure you choose, in the region you choose. There is no proprietary dependency that would stop you from moving it later.
Hosted or self-hosted
Use our hosted service, or run the same product on your own server. The choice does not change the price: it is $99 either way.
Encrypted at rest
Calendar and video tokens are encrypted with AES-GCM before they touch the database, and are never exposed to the browser.
Two-factor authentication
TOTP second factor on your account, with recovery codes. Standard authenticator apps, no SMS dependency.
Isolation by design
Row-level security on every table. Data is scoped to an organisation at the database level, not only in application code.
How Calenday compares
We publish a full comparison against each major scheduling tool, including what each one does better than us. Pricing is taken from the vendor’s official page and dated, so you can check it yourself rather than take our word for it.
Frequently asked questions
- Is $99 really the whole price?
- Yes. Calenday Lifetime costs $99, paid once, and covers unlimited users inside your account. There is no renewal, no per-seat charge and no annual invoice. The only money that moves afterwards is what your own clients pay you, and that goes straight to your Stripe or PayPal account.
- What does the free plan actually include?
- Unlimited brands, unlimited event types and unlimited bookings, with calendar sync and a public booking page. It has no time limit and no booking cap. The $99 licence adds automated workflows, payment collection, video conferencing, analytics, and removal of the “Powered by Calenday” line.
- How is Calenday different from Calendly?
- Two things. Billing: Calendly charges $10 to $16 per person per month; Calenday charges $99 once for everyone. Structure: Calendly has one identity per account, while Calenday holds several fully separated brands in a single account — which is what agencies actually need.
- Can I collect payment when someone books?
- Yes, with the Lifetime licence. You connect your own Stripe or PayPal account through OAuth, and your guest pays at the moment of booking. The funds land in your account directly. Calenday never holds your money and never asks you to paste an API key.
- Which calendars and video tools does it connect to?
- Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 for calendars, both with two-way sync. Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom for video, with the link generated when a booking is confirmed. Every connection is made through an OAuth button — you never paste a token anywhere.
- Is it available in my language?
- Calenday ships in English, French, German and Spanish. That covers the whole product: your dashboard, the public booking page your guests see, and the transactional emails they receive. Your booking page can also be pinned to one language regardless of the visitor’s browser.
