A Google Meet scheduler that creates the link for you

Calenday is a Google Meet scheduler that creates a unique Meet link for every confirmed booking. The link is added to the Google Calendar event, the confirmation email and the .ics file, so nobody has to copy it by hand. Google Meet links come with the Calenday Lifetime license, a one-time $99 payment.

What it does

How does Calenday schedule Google Meet meetings?

Calenday schedules Google Meet meetings by creating the Meet link at the moment a guest confirms a booking. The link is attached to the Google Calendar event and repeated in the confirmation email, as a Join button, and in the .ics file. It requires a connected Google Calendar.

  • Link created at confirmation

Every booking gets its own Google Meet link, generated as soon as the guest confirms.

  • In the calendar event

The Meet link is attached to the Google Calendar event that Calenday creates for the booking.

  • In the confirmation email

The guest gets a Join button in the Calenday confirmation email, plus the link in the .ics file.

  • In your reminders

Lifetime workflows can insert the video link variable into reminder emails sent before the meeting.

Setup

How do you add Google Meet links to bookings?

Adding Google Meet links to Calenday bookings takes three steps: connect Google Calendar, set the event type location to a video call with Google Meet, then share the booking link. You need the Lifetime license and a connected Google account, which is also used as the destination calendar.

  • 01

    Connect Google Calendar

Go to Availability → Calendar settings and connect your Google account. It becomes the destination calendar for new bookings.

  • 02

Choose Google Meet on the event type

In Scheduling, open an event type, set Location to Video call and pick Google Meet as the video provider.

  • 03

    Share the booking link

From now on, each confirmed booking gets a Meet link in the event, the confirmation email and the .ics file.

Details

Where does the Google Meet link appear for the guest?

The Google Meet link appears in three places for the guest: the Google Calendar event, the Calenday confirmation email with its Join button, and the attached .ics file. Lifetime reminder emails can include it as well. It is not yet shown on the confirmation page displayed right after booking.

  • Google account required

Meet links are created through the connected Google Calendar, which must be the destination calendar.

  • One link per booking

Each booking has its own Meet link, so two guests never share the same room.

  • Works with any guest

Guests join from the link; they do not need to connect anything to Calenday.

  • Part of Lifetime

Video links, payments, workflows and analytics are unlocked together by the $99 Lifetime license.

Limits

What are the limits of the Google Meet integration?

For now, the Meet link doesn’t appear on the screen guests see right after booking, and it isn’t included in rescheduling emails. Guests find it in their confirmation email and calendar file instead. Calenday also needs a connected Google Calendar to create Meet links, and the feature isn’t part of the free plan.

  • Not on the confirmation page

The page shown right after booking does not display the Meet link. The guest finds it in the email and the .ics file.

  • Not in the rescheduling email

When the host reschedules, the rescheduling email does not carry the video link yet.

  • Google Calendar needed

Without a connected Google Calendar as the destination, Calenday cannot create Meet links.

FAQ

Google Meet scheduling questions

How do I schedule a Google Meet with a booking link?
Connect Google Calendar in Calenday, set an event type’s location to Video call with Google Meet, and share that event type’s booking link. When someone books, Calenday creates the Meet link automatically and sends it in the confirmation email. This requires the Lifetime license, a single $99 payment.
Do guests need a Google account to join?
Guests do not need to connect anything to Calenday. They open the Google Meet link from the confirmation email, the .ics file or their calendar. Whether Google asks them to sign in depends on your Google Meet settings, which Calenday does not control.
Is the Google Meet integration free?
No. Google Meet links are part of the Calenday Lifetime license, which costs $99 once for unlimited users. The Google Calendar connection itself is free, so you can test availability and booking pages on the free plan before deciding to add automatic Meet links.
Should I use Google Meet or Zoom with Calenday?
Use Google Meet if you already work in Google Calendar, since the Meet link is created through that calendar. Choose Zoom if you rely on a Zoom account or have no calendar connected, because Calenday can create Zoom meetings without any calendar. Both are included in the Lifetime license.

Unlimited bookings, no card, no countdown. If Calenday earns the $99, you will know within a week.
